vegan machine
i go the egg everytime im in liverpool the place is amazing and i would recomend it to everyone the cafe itself is unlike any resturantive ever eat at if your looking for culture and great food (and a bit a a hippy background) go the egg and enjoy the place is so fantastic i took my mum

I went to the egg cafe for the first time with a friend and thought it was amazing. I have recently become a vegan and becasue the food was tasty and affordable, it made me feel more secure in my choice of veganism. The menu was clearly labelled with what was suitbale for vegans and the food itself was filling and refreshing. I would recommmend the spicy vegan burger. One word. Beautiful. The cafe is secluded and a world away from a typical city restraunt! The atmosphere was calming and relaxed and the staff were lovely and helpful. It would be great if they had more choices on the menu but apart from that i would recommend it!
My other half and I went to Egg yesterday and had a very nice sunday lunch in a relaxed yet busy atmosphere. I am vegan and my partner vegetarian and it made a nice change to have plenty of choice. I even had dessert! I loved the quirkiness of the place - right up our street and we'll definitely go again when in Liverpool.
The egg cafe is a little gem hidden up winding stairs on the 2nd floor of a building in newington,liverpool city centre. It has a very relaxed hippy like atmosphere and anyone and everyone fits in.The food is first class vegetarian/vegan and the portions are huge.The prices are very good. You can get a 3 course meal with tea/coffee for a set price of �8.95 but to be honest it would proberbly be too much to eat.You can take your own alcohol of a night and you will only be charged �1 corkage.This place is great. Try it and see. You will go back again and again
